The Syndicate Codex

This agreement ("Terms") governs all use of Studio Syndicate services (“us”, “we”) by clients, collaborators, and visitors (“you”). By hiring us, accessing services, or interacting with Studio Syndicate platforms, you agree to these terms fully and unconditionally.

1. Services Covered

These terms apply to all offerings including: web design, Discord automation, CTRL Kit, hosting, strategy consulting, branding, and content production.

2. Payment & Ownership

All pricing is agreed upon before work begins. Payment may be made via invoice, Stripe, or other approved methods. For most fixed-rate projects, a 50% deposit is due upfront unless otherwise noted.

Final ownership of all deliverables transfers only after full payment. Until then, assets remain Studio Syndicate property.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Deposits are non-refundable unless we cancel the project before work starts.
• Hosting refunds are prorated if requested within 7 days of setup.
• CTRL Kit and SaaS tools are non-refundable once access is delivered, unless proven non-functional and unfixable within 7 days.
• Discretionary refunds are rare, final, and non-negotiable once processed.

4. Edits, Revisions, & Scope

Each project includes two rounds of revisions unless otherwise noted. Requests outside the original scope will be quoted separately. Client delays beyond 14 days may result in rebooking fees.

5. Hosting & Tech Infrastructure

We provide LiteSpeed hosting for sites and bots. You are responsible for passwords and backups. We’re not liable for outages caused by user error, third parties, or force majeure.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use our services to host or distribute illegal, exploitative, discriminatory, or abusive content. We can deny or terminate service for violations of platform rules or ethical boundaries.

7. Liability Limitations

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages. We do not guarantee specific platform performance (e.g. TikTok reach, Discord uptime).

8. Confidentiality

We keep your strategies and systems private. You agree not to share or reverse-engineer our tools or internal processes without written permission.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update this document at any time. You’ll be notified of any major updates. Continued use of our services means you accept the new terms.

• To comply with legal obligations

3. Your Data Rights

You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing ops@stusyn.com. We'll respond within 7 days—faster if it’s urgent.

4. Third-Party Tools

We may use trusted tools like Google Analytics, Stripe, Discord OAuth, or Mailchimp—but we never sell or rent your data, and all third-party access is tightly controlled and encrypted.

5. Data Retention

We retain client data for as long as necessary to deliver services and comply with financial/legal obligations. You can request earlier deletion.

6. Children’s Privacy

Studio Syndicate is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Security

We use SSL, encryption, and multi-factor authentication wherever possible. Data is stored in secure cloud environments with limited access.

8. Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or tech. You’ll always be notified of material updates.

• We do not guarantee virality, reach, conversions, or revenue.
• We do not promise uninterrupted uptime (we promise effort, not perfection).
• We are not responsible for bans, content removals, or platform changes (e.g. Twitch or TikTok algorithms).

2. Advisory Limitations

We offer guidance, not legal or financial advice. Anything shared in consultations or strategy docs should be interpreted as support, not legally binding direction.

3. Liability Cap

If something goes sideways, our total liability is limited to the fees paid for that specific service in the past 30 days. We will never be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

4. Use At Your Own Risk

All services, tools, assets, or suggestions are used at your own discretion. Studio Syndicate will never trick you—but we’ll push you.
